Editorial Reviews Product Description AT&T Corded 2-Line Speakerphone Amazon.com Product Description The AT&T 993 Corded 2-Line Speakerphone is perfect for a small business that needs a telephone that supports two lines. You can make and receive calls by using the keypad and Speakerphone in the base station. The phone's three-party conferencing lets you conduct business with three people conversing together on three different lines. Automatic line selection means that when the phone is ringing and you pick up, you will be connected to the one that is ringing. You can also set up different ringtones for each of the lines. A large display provides easy-to-read text for setup and caller information. The phone has a 100-entry memory and a 99-name-and-number caller ID history. Numbers stored in the caller ID history can be dialed directly; and with call waiting-capable caller ID, you can see who is calling even when you are already on the line. If you subscribe to a voicemail service, a red light blinks when you have voicemail waiting. For hands-free operation, the 2.5-millimeter jacks lets you connect a headset. Product Accessories

Customer Reviews S. Woodhouse Said: Merely adequate ( Oct. 30th 2009 )You get what you pay for, I guess. I got this for my home office, and Amazon's price was good. The phone works but you have to dial slowly and carefully. The number won't register unless you press it firmly, and then it will easily double dial. Makes it hard to use the keypad to, for example, enter your credit card number. Sound quality is fine, and the second line works pretty seamlessly.C. Adamson Said: Almost perfect ( Oct. 26th 2009 )Great 2 line phone for use in my home office. A couple of minor annoyances, though. First the good: + Separate volume controls for each ringer + Able to control which line is auto-selected + Speakerphone very clear + Headset jack + plenty of speed-dial buttons + excellent sound quality. Now the minor annoyances: - Caller ID display does not hyphenate numbers, you will see 202-5551212 - If a number is in the directory, caller ID does NOT display the directory entry (why??!!) - The menu navigation is odd, and I often hit the wrong button when trying to use the menus. - Cannot disable beeping tone made when you press buttons (annoying at first, but later you won't even notice them.) All that said, I am very happy with this phone.Jillian E. Rabon Said: great phone ( Oct. 9th 2009 )used it for training i had and decided to definitely keep it for the convenience of a closer phone. sound is really good. only thing i would ever change is how long the cord is. i would definitely say its a great phone to have if u need a phone for work @ home or just a second phoneK Said: Speakerphone is Great ( Oct. 8th 2009 )I wanted a reasonably priced good quality speakerphone for my home office. I spend days worth of conference calls each month and this phone is PERFECT! Have been using for 5 months now & it's great, love it.Rustydog111 Said: Perfect 2 line phone! ( Oct. 7th 2009 )My 2 line phones were dying and I needed to update them fast, but didn't want to spend a ton of money. I looked at the reviews on Amazon for this At&t 993 and decided to take a chance. Well, it arrived today and I fell in love with it immediately. I didn't bother to put in a 9v battery yet and even so, all the functions work on a/c power alone! I think it would lose the caller I.D. information if it were unplugged, so I'll splurge on a 9 volt battery. My old Sprint phone would die if the batteries were removed. The first thing I did was to program speed dial for each of my voice mails. What a simple task! The phone voice quality is fine, and the buttons are large which will make it easy for someone with less than perfect vision to dial a number. I'm very pleased and will be buying more soon.« Back |
