Editorial Reviews Product Description AT&T 5.8 GHz Digital Corded/Cordless Answering System Amazon.com Product Description The AT&T TL76108 5.8 GHz Digital Corded/Cordless Phone with Dual Handsets and Answering System has many value-added features that make it an ideal choice for busy homes. By employing Digital Spread Spectrum Frequency Hopping technology on the 5.8 GHz spectrum, the TL76108 offers better sound quality, enhanced range, and increased security compared to phones that operate on a lower bandwidth, such as 2.4 GHz phones. The TL76108's cordless and corded handsets provide both flexibility and security, all from a single phone jack. Both the base and the handset feature speaker phones and the system is expandable allowing use of up to eight handsets through a single phone jack. The phone also features 2-line operation. An intercom allows you to talk between handset and base, and you can transfer calls between them, as well as hold a conference with up to seven parties. The phonebook can hold up to 50 entries and the phone features lighted keypads and displays. Users can choose between 10 selectable ringer melodies, and the system has a battery backup for power failure operation. A 2.5mm jack on the handset allows for hands-free use when connected to a headset. A built-in digital answering machine system records messages on microchips for reliable performance, instant access to messages, and the ability to selectively save and delete messages. The phone supports caller ID and call waiting, with a 50 name/number caller ID history and the option to set personalized ringers. The phone system is both table- and wall-mountable. Customer Reviews R. Belfield Said: The phone is not wall mountable;. ( Sep. 11th 2009 )Received this phone and found out that you can not mount it on the phone. Checked with customer service over at AT&T and they confirmed it. Very misleading.Cathi Said: Phone cannot be mounted on the wall ( Aug. 18th 2009 )The phone works well, but the one feature I wanted, the one which was included in the Product Description and at least one customer review, is not available. The description says, "The phone system is both table- and wall-mountable". I contacted AT&T (after I purchased the phone, unfortunately) and they confirmed it cannot be put on the wall, not even with an adaptor. So, I have my old, dying Uniden phone on the wall and my brand new AT&T phone on a table. The phone works well and I like the idea of being able to add more handsets. However, I am still on the lookout for a two-line cordless phone which can be hung on the wall.Kevin A. Mcmanus Said: I did not do what we wanted and we returned it ( Aug. 17th 2009 )The only reason we bought this phone (with 2 lines) was to be able to have callers select one voice mail box for each of the two people who work here. It would not allow that so we returned it!G. A. Jones Said: Beware of 2-line VOIP. ( Aug. 8th 2009 )Does not work at all with a 2-line VOIP. I currently have Comcast VOIP and Broadvoice VOIP. One for the domestic calls, the other for international. You cannot use this phone under these conditions. Hopefully when I switch to a 1 analog + 1 VOIP it will work. If not, I will back over the phone with my truck and watch it smash to pieces. Yay for destruction! BUT, the phone is great if you have 2-line analog. The volume is load, the handset battery life is pretty good. Its a pretty simple phone technologically, easy to use. Good times to be had by some.R. Roberts Said: Excellent Choice! ( Jun. 21st 2009 )Excellent product. Easy to setup. Manual actually was easy to follow. Met our needs in superior fashion« Back |
